Without a doubt, no one can question Amy Kux's stamina and determination after finding out that she survived a five-day labor and natural birth with her daughter, Maya. It's this same drive that Amy uses to research and find green technologies and products. This passion to use earth-safe and baby-friendly products is born out of her love of nature, the San Francisco Bay Area and its beauty. By using her accounting and business (MBA) skills, Amy has found that having a baby in the Bay Area can be done affordably while still living in a healthy, sustainable way.

As a baby planner, Amy loves the fact that she learns as much from new parents as she teaches them. She always advises new parents to "trust their gut. This is the only way that you grow and become more confident as a parent," she says. Having her daughter, has taught her that love has no boundaries, asks no questions and is ever flowing.

When Amy wants to relax and unwind, her love of the outdoors brings her to the Marin Hills for a great hike. Then she doesn't feel quite so guilty when she sits down to read and eat a sorbet treat.
