Each child brings a new light into this life and brings joy into a new family. A birth is a new beginning for all. I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to work with women as they welcome their new babies into this world.
As a Birth Doula, I enjoy spending time with new-to-be mothers and discovering their excitements and concerns. As we embark on the journey of birthing together, I provide encouragement and support for you and your partner to connect and experience all that arises. I will be with you from pregnancy to birth and after. I am here to be your safety net, listen to your needs, and support your decisions. I guide you into poses that can help shift the baby. I am here to care for you. You and the baby’s health are the #1 priority. I come with my presence, experience, and wisdom to see your picture through the fog of your physical labor sensations. I am here for you!
About me: My mother was a midwife, so I grew up with a child on each hip my whole life. I’ve attended births since I was 3 years old. I still remember my first time seeing the Placenta explained. I ›have been a nanny since I was 12 years old. As I grew older in life, I have cared for all ages from infants to 10-year-olds. For a period of time, I was able to care for 7 children at once and have been an overnight nanny for twin infants.
Our paths in life all happen for a reason. My path has been to become a yoga instructor, holistic nutritionist, nanny, and energetic healer. Each of those roles has taught me how to hold space for people and to truly listen to their needs. Now as a Birth Doula I hold space for women and support them during the biggest transformation of their lives!
As a Postpartum Doula, I cherish every moment assisting a new mother and child in building a relationship together. As you begin to discover a new part of yourself, Motherhood, I will be there to provide a listening ear and encouraging words. I am here to help you ease into this new life. I provide breastfeeding support and yummy food for your nourishment as you build back your energy. Little ones tend to melt in my arms as I hold them with a calming presence. As you rest, you’ll know your baby is in safe hands.
When I’m not holding little ones in my arms or guiding women to breathe, I am a very active person. For fun, I do Acrobatic Yoga, where I am spun and lifted upside down and all around by another person. I love theatre and am currently creating a theatrical dramatic clowntastic performance. I could cook for days, just don’t ask me to bake. Hiking, dancing, and traveling the world all bring warmth to my heart.
