Hey there, I'm Kimmi Burk, your friendly postpartum doula, babywearing consultant, and newborn and family photographer! My love for caring for babies started when I was young, volunteering in daycares and nannying for various families as a teen. When I moved to Portland in 2017, I worked at a local baby boutique, where I discovered the incredible childbirth community and the vital role doulas play.

During my own pregnancy and postpartum journey, I learned the immense value of doula support and decided to be a part of it all. I became a babywearing and cloth diaper educator, facilitated support groups, and offered lactation and feeding assistance. Joining Itsabelly as a postpartum doula in 2018 was a dream come true.

I believe doula support can make a positive difference throughout childbirth and postpartum, and I'm eager to provide that for every family who wants it. Working with such an incredible team at Itsabelly means our clients have a strong support system.
