Robyn - Postpartum Doula

As a postpartum doula, it is my passion to offer the best support, care, and educational resources possible to guide families through this adventure of early parenthood. My goal is that each family member feels nurtured and empowered by the end of our experience together.

I have 10 years of experience working in early childhood education specializing in infants. I am also a childbirth educator with a focus on infant safety. I love being able to use my background to help families learn about milestones, how to care for newborns, and how to prepare for the next stages of infant development.

As part of my postpartum doula services, I enjoy birth story processing, which includes listening to the birthing person’s labor and birth story, talking through feelings of postpartum depression or anxiety, and how best to cope with those feelings. I also have a lot of experience with lactation assistance, such as latching methods, nursing positions, breast pump assembly, and instructions on how to use the pump. Infant care and education, infant soothing, diapering, sleep support, bottle feeding, bathing, and swaddling are things I thrive at.

Here’s a little bit about me! I am a Portland native born and raised. My family and I absolutely love the Pacific Northwest. I have had the privilege of being married to my best friend for the last 14 years. I am a mother of two, a 12-year-old daughter and an 8-year-old son. Our family of four loves going on hikes on trails, enjoying time on the coast, and hunting for our next donut stop.
