Twins 101

TWINS 101 is a four hour class, for parents who are expecting more than one baby. 

This class has a lot of information streamlined into a short amount of time to accommodate the discomfort of a multiple pregnancy. A practical approach to preparing home, supplies, and equipment needed for multiple babies. Although there is prenatal information, this is not a preparing for childbirth class. Problem-solving and practical information for caring for more than one at once and getting over that newborn hump will be given. Class is taught by a multiples specialist and educator with both personal experience, and over 30 years of professional, with multiples and their families. A bonus of this class is ongoing access to the instructor for problem-solving as your babies’ needs change. This class is offered via zoom for $100 for Itsabelly & OHP clients (after 20% discount) or $125 for the general public.

Babywearing Consultation

Knowing that your baby is close, comfortable, and safe is worth booking a session. If you are new to carriers, this is the time to check out different styles and see which ones fit you and your baby. Each session is $75 and lasts about an hour. Demo carriers and weighted dolls are available.

Creating Your Postpartum Plan

During pregnancy, most women focus on birth plans. It is hard to think past the delivery of your newborn and plan for how your new life will unfold. This class is your first step to learn what the first month or two might look like and to brainstorm ideas to plan who will take care of the “must do’s” on your list.

ItsaBelly wants those first few weeks to be a time when families feel supported. At the end of this class, you will have the tools to use: where to find community resources, a list of “chores” that you can hand visitors when they ask “What can I do to help”, resources for meal planning, a framework for flexibility and how to reach out if things don’t go as planned, and an idea of how this new baby will fit into your family.
