I am a born-and-raised Portland native deeply committed to serving the community through birth work and providing essential support to newborns and their families. As an advocate for LGBTQ+ and BIPOC individuals, I am dedicated to offering inclusive and compassionate care to all patients.
With a BA in Public Policy and a minor in Civic Engagement from Portland State University, my journey began in local political campaigns at the state capital. However, my own transformative birth experiences revealed a significant need for hands-on advocacy in birthwork, leading me to shift my focus towards this meaningful path.
After obtaining my doula certification at Birthingway College of Midwifery, I embraced my role as a Traditional Healthcare Worker Doula for the state of Oregon. Combining my policy background with my passion for doula work, I am determined to drive public policies that support doulas and advocate for underserved parents within our community.
My happiness thrives in the great outdoors, spending quality time with my kids and exploring the breathtaking adventures Oregon has to offer. Beyond my doula responsibilities, I also serve on the board of the Portland Doula Association, volunteer doula services, and lead postpartum support groups. In my free time, you can find me beachcombing at the coast, savoring the pleasures of fruit-picking in the Gorge, or enjoying a show at the Aladdin theater.
My dedication to empowering families, creating positive birth experiences, and driving change in the birth community makes every step of this journey meaningful and rewarding.
